With this being my very 1st blog post, I'm very excited and nervous to take this on.  I believe images speak for them self, so I wont be going on and on about each image and it's meaning.  I will however be able to explain how images are created and provide you with great information about photography & why I love what I do.

So, why am I doing this...

Most of my images are only ever seen by my clients.  I have images on my website for viewing and I have my facebook page, but I only ever post just a few pictures from each session.  Now I'll get to share with you many more of my favorite images & talk about my sessions because each one of them is truly different.  I'll also be getting a little personal, talking about my photography journey, where it all began and how I've grown into the photographer I am today.  I'll be giving you some photography tips, like how to create images with that blurry background (also known as Bokeh) which so many of us love, including me.  I'll  be chatting about why photographers charge what they do.  But today I'm posting about the Balzanna Family.  

I was thrilled when Kelli called me to book their sons fall mini session.  It was their 1st time using a freelance photographer.   When we had to cancel due to rain, I got them rescheduled for the following week, and it was a hiccup on my part, because I scheduled them on the one day Kinder Farm Park is closed.  What a great 1st impression, LOL.  I called them the morning of their session to make them aware so we decide to meet at Lake Waterford Park, another local park, which happened to be where Gage goes frequently to play at the playground.  It's funny how it all works out sometimes.  It was a gorgeous fall evening.  We played in the leaves.  We went on a hike.  We saw the ducks!  We had fun! The session ended with a little treat that I brought...a chocolate mustache, it really made for some adorable photos.   He did a terrific job. He warmed right up in front of the camera & even smiled when asked (with out making a "funny" smile), which is pretty surprising for a 3 year old.
