How quickly the time goes when your having fun and watching a baby grow.  I've had the honor of photographing the Wilson family from their maternity session all the way to their son's first Birthday.  Included are 4 separate sessions, the 1st being their maternity session, taken on the beach at Down Memorial Park in Pasadena, MD.  I could tell how over joyed they both were for there son's arrival.  We started the session at there home in the baby's room where everything was ready for Zachary.  When we got to the beach it was very hot and humid as it is in the summer here in Maryland, but Beth was a trooper during the whole session, not mentioning a thing about it.

When the baby arrived just a few weeks later, I got the call to schedule the newborn session.  When arriving at their house I could tell how in love they were, smiling ear to ear & so excited. Zachary was just 7 days new and such a perfect little guy.  He was one of the best babies I had photographed, sleeping most of the session and had no accidents which is unheard of. Here are a few of my favorites from his newborn session.

Now fast forward 8 months later, I got to meet up with the Wilson family for a spring mini session, they even brought their dog Della.  We started the session on the beach, the lighting was prefect and little Zachary was all smiles.  The trees where in full bloom so we took advantage of the beautiful spring foliage and I captured some of my favorites images of this family.

After the spring session, I knew they were interested in having me photograph Zach for his 1st Birthday.  When they told me the theme of the circus, I was so excited.  I knew the colors would be vibrant and fun.  For this portrait session Zach and his Mom came to my studio.  Everything was set and ready to go, since Zachary was on the go now, we had to work quickly to get the shots.  I know Zach's Mom was a bit warn out after the session...gotta admit, I was to.  All the little details came together so well.  Of course it wouldn't be a 1st Birthday shoot with out a cake smash, so we saved that for last.  I'm not sure if Zach had more fun eating the cake or playing in it.  Either way, it was a such a fun shoot & it was amazing watching him grow in front of my lens.
